MIR Trade AG exports high-quality coal of almost all grades, catering to a diverse range of industrial applications. The company's product portfolio is carefully structured to meet the specific requirements of energy generation, metallurgical processing, industrial heating, and specialized industrial applications. Each coal category is subject to rigorous quality control and can be customized by regulating parameters such as ash content, moisture, volatiles, and Net Calorific Value (NCV).
High-volatile steam coal (0-50 mm) used for electricity generation at power utilities, independent power producers (IPP), industrial boilers, sugar plants, chemical production, and the cement industry. Characterized by low ash, sulfur, chlorine, and phosphorus content combined with a high calorific value. MIR Trade AG continuously expands its steam coal assortment to meet individual buyer requirements.
Sized coal with medium and low volatiles for house heating and technological processes. Exported in washed SSPK grade (50-200 mm) and SSOM grade (13-50 mm), as well as unwashed DKO grade (50-70 mm) and DPK grade (50-200 mm). Washed SSPK grade offers NCV up to 7,900 kcal/kg with optimal Hardgrove index and near-zero sulfur content.
Coking coal, PQ and sintering coal used extensively in the coke industry for decreasing volatile matter content in coal charge. Characterized by a low level of sulfur and phosphorus, this coal grade typically represents 5-20% of the total coal charge in coke production. The medium volatile grade reaches delivery volumes of approximately 4.5 million tonnes annually.
Considered one of the highest quality PCI coal grades in the world due to its unique chemical composition. Features an optimal average volatile matter level that allows usage without mixing with other coal grades, combined with low ash, phosphorus, and sulfur content. Consumed by leading steel companies in Europe, Brazil, and India for over fifteen years.
